Three Things Challenge #411

Three Things Challenge #411

Pensitivity101 Rules:

Welcome to The Three Things Challenge.
Every day I’ll list three things that may, or may not, be related. The challenge is to simply read the prompt and see where your creativity takes you, using one, two or all three words in your post. There are no restrictions regarding length, style, or genre apart from keeping it family friendly.

You can use the 3TC, #threethingschallenge or TTC as a tag and the logo if you wish.
Invite us along by creating a pingback to this post and don’t forget to leave your link in the comments so that other people can read your writings and I’ll see it to respond to you directly. While you’re there, why not check out some of the other posts too!

Have fun and these are your three things today are:

ANIMALS
MUTE
SELLING

**********

The mute child stood watching the animals in the zoo. She was fascinated by all of them. Her mother could barely pull her away to move her on to the next cage. Suddenly she pointed to the man selling animal balloons. Her mother took her over and let her have her choice and she picked the koala bear. Later in the souvenir shop she also wanted a stuffed koala bear and when her mother asked the person selling the souvenirs the price she immediately told the girl no, which led to a crying spell. The mother had to pull her crying out of the store and lead her home. The child didn’t understand why she couldn’t have that one too. At four years old she didn’t understand price. The stuffed bears were considerably more expensive.

SILENT
STILL
POINT

**********

Jack stood still, silent and pointed to the group of older kids that were searching for them. Jack and the younger boys slid quietly into the old barn and hid behind the bales of hay. “Come out, come out, wherever you are,” the older kids shouted. Jack and his group ignored them and they passed by the barn and headed into town. Once they were safely out of ear shot, Jack and his group moved off away from the town and headed home. They didn’t want to risk running into them again.
