Last night I had a new aide and she smilingly gave me my shower. Some times I don’t get one at all or if I do the aide is grumpy as all get out. Last night was a pleasure.

I looked at the plate of food that had been served to me dreading what had become food that was mostly inedible. To my surprise I enjoyed the whole plate of food, even the vegetable.

I have lost 10 pounds in the last few weeks and 4 pounds in the few weeks before that. I have trouble losing weight so this was a surprise and I had someone ask me if I had lost weight and I said I didn’t know. So it was a pleasant surprise.

Trent’s Rules
My smile:
I am smiling about the fact that they are going to implement two meal times and split the residents up so the dining room won’t be so crowded. It has been crazy at meal times since it was so crowded in there due to all the new residents. The dining room wasn’t designed for that many people, espcially since two thirds of them are in wheel chairs or use walkers. Hopefully this will solve the problem.

Hard to find things to smile about. I was recently hacked in my Instagram and Facebook accounts. The hackers caused me a lot of stress and I lost contact with my friends on that account. Today I can smile because despite that and the money I seemed to have been scammed out of today, I did regain contact with my friends on Instagram. I hope that this guy will actually do the work he promised me he could do with the software I needed to buy. I think more and more it was a scam even though he was “recommended” as a great repairer of hacked accounts, He probably put that link in there himself. I have learned another valuable lesson. I am in the process of disputing the charges I made for this “repair.”

Hard to find things to smile about. I guess I will say that I actually had a couple of decent meals. The food here is not good and they lie on their website about gourmet food and this so-called gourmet food comes out of packages and it sucks most of the time.

I have had a lucky streak with BINGO and we have a store to spend our BINGO BUCK winnings and I used mine to buy an old-fashioned Santa about a foot or 18 inches tall. It is my only consideration to decorating most likely.

Although I accidentally ordered the wrong color, my new curtains are a perfect match. I had ordered wine/burgundy but ended up with teal (a dark teal), and it goes perfectly with my light green quilt. The quilt is a mint green color, and they are a great match.
