My smile:

While there is a lot of change going on in my life, my smile is that I am slowly adjusting to life in an assisted living facility. I am on a schedule to eat and a nurse makes sure I get my medications so I don’t forget them like I was doing more and more. I also get 3 meals a day and I don’t have to cook them.

    1. Yes it is although having constant traffic in my room I could do without. The come just to check up on us to make sure we haven’t fallen and to make sure we make it to our meals. I understand why, but it does make things difficult when you never know when someone is going to come barging in and I don’t even know why they put locks on the doors because they are always unlocked. I leave and lock it and come back it is open. I used to leave my hand bag in my room when I left, but since it is open more often than not a lock is almost unnecessary and I have to carry my hand bag around. There are still lots of things in here that I don’t want people accessing, but not much choice.
